When You Sign In

When you sign in with Google, we collect:

• Your name
• Your profile picture

This information is stored securely in our database (Supabase) and is used to create and manage your account.

Your Projects

When you use Featurely, we store:

• Your app ideas and project descriptions
• AI-generated features and prompts
• Project settings and preferences

All your project data is stored in our secure database so you can access it from any device. Only you can see your projects.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, we store:

• Your subscription status and plan type
• Your credits balance
• Billing period dates

Important: We never see or store your credit card information. All payments are handled securely by Polar.

Usage Information

We track how many features and prompts you generate to manage your credits. We also use anonymous analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand how people use the app and make it better.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the service and generate AI features for you
• To save your projects so you can access them anytime
• To manage your account and subscription
• To track your credits usage
• To send you important updates about your account
• To improve the service and fix bugs

Third-Party Services We Use

Supabase

We use Supabase to store your account information and projects. Supabase is a secure, trusted database provider that encrypts your data and is SOC 2 certified.

Google

We use Google for two things:

• Sign In: Google OAuth handles secure authentication
• AI Features: Google Gemini AI processes your ideas to generate features and prompts. Your data is not used to train their AI models.

Polar

Polar handles all payment processing. We never see your credit card information - Polar keeps it secure.

Vercel

The app is hosted on Vercel. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage statistics (no personal data collected).

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data to anyone. We only share your information with:

• Service providers: Supabase (database), Google (auth/AI), Polar (payments), and Vercel (hosting) - only what they need to provide their services
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

Data Security

We take security seriously:

• All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
• Database access is protected with Row Level Security - you can only see your own data
• We use secure authentication via Google OAuth
• No credit card information is stored on our servers

While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% secure. We do our best to protect your information.

Your Rights

You can:

• Access your data: View all your projects and account information anytime
• Update your data: Edit your profile by updating your Google account
• Delete your data: Delete individual projects or contact us to delete your entire account
• Cancel subscription: Cancel anytime from your account settings
• Export your data: Contact us for a complete data export

Data Retention

• Account data: Kept until you delete your account
• Projects: Kept until you delete them or your account
• Subscription history: Kept for 7 years for accounting purposes
• Deleted data: Permanently removed within 30 days

Cookies and Storage

We use:

• Authentication cookies: To keep you logged in
• Local storage: To remember your theme preference (light/dark mode)

Your projects are stored in our database, not in your browser.

Children's Privacy

Featurely is not intended for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us so we can delete it.

International Users

Your data may be stored on servers in different countries. By using Featurely, you consent to this. We rely on our service providers (Supabase, Google, etc.) to comply with international data protection laws.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or a notice on the website. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
